11/26/2017 – The Advocate explains why enrollment in the Affordable Care Act in Louisiana has increased for 2018. But the 10,000 Louisiana residents who buy their own coverage but earn too much for a premium subsidy tax credit are not happy. One health plan applicant is quoted saying “The plans are horrible. There’s no reason a plan with a $4,500 deductible should cost over two grand. It just shouldn’t.”
